I called before I ever showed up for my stay and was hung up on by Angela at the front desk for asking if they offer early check in. When I called back she argued and told that she didn’t have a manager. I filed an official complaint and I never heard back from the hotel, not even after my stay.
When I first walked into the king room I was struck by how empty it was and there was a vast empty space at the far end of the room where the windows were. It felt like a piece of furniture was missing. I checked the ad photos and my room was definitely missing an armchair and ottoman.
I paid close to $1000 for the week, single king bed. I did expect free parking. I was really surprised by the fees for parking and older workout equipment in the fitness center.
The room I stayed in didn’t have a mini fridge or a microwave. USB charging port on the left side of the bed did not work and the light on the right side of the bed did not work. I felt like I was constantly fighting with the air conditioner. It desperately wanted to blow cold air and it was snowing outside.
Camilla in the front office is a doll, the cafe and little gift shop totally appeal and the hotel smells like burgers each night at dinner!
