The front desk staff acted unprofessional and was dressed like they were home on a Saturday night, ripped jeans T-shirt. The bathroom was dirty and the beds were sunken down

Check-in was pretty seamless front desk guy was ok, nice. The room was a issue for me, it smelled musty really musty opened window to get fresh air. The room just didn't feel clean, the rug in my opinion should be pulled out from under beds towards the dressers to cover bare floor. Floor felt dirty with bare feet. Worst of all I got into bed and bedding felt slightly damp, hence the musty smell. Slept on top of sheets and comforter. My wife slept in other bed and seemed fine. (We just wanted our own bed to spread out). We should of asked for different room but we're tired from a long ride and fun day at the big E. Yes we should of complained but they also should know the difference between damp and dry sheets.

Room interior was clean and everything was in good order. Check in staff pleasant and helpful. Lovely park-like setting. Property exterior needs a lot of TLC to bring it up to par. Offers very good value for the price, once you're in the room!

The place was disgusting. Outside garbage was overrun everywhere. The room was gross. The floor made my socks black. There were cobwebs around the side of the tv stand/dresser, the bathroom was just nasty. We put the do not disturb sign on our door and by 10 in the morning housekeeping took it and check out wasn’t until 11. The screen is missing on all the 1st floor windows and it was unlocked, other people have said their stuff was stolen and that is probably why. I felt very unsafe there. And don’t reply with we will let the property manager know because obviously they haven’t done anything yet with all the other complaints and don’t say we hope you will stay with us again because that WONT HAPPEN EVER!!!! Read all the reviews and definitely believe the bad ones they are true!!!!!

My son cut his foot with a glass shard left on the room floor. After complaining, no response yet from management (of which there is none!). Floors dirty, in general. Several cobwebs throughout room and in shower. Would not recommend staying here!

I like that we were right next door to the Yankee Candle Village. I didn't like that I had to call to get clean towels, coffee & have my trash dumped. You pay good money but have to ask for services that used to be provided wirh your reservation. It served our purposes & we'd stay again. Too bad they don't offer breakfast as well.

I have stayed here many times but unfortunately this time was the worse time. It was very dirty, room smelled like mold, shower head would drip all night long, curtains were falling off the clips, bed sheets were put on lazy. I was very disappointed.

Very good price/quality ratio. Very large, so in peak times a safe bet. A surprise to find out the hotel doesn't have lifts. Be prepared to walk the stairs. Safe entry, so carry one suitcase at a time upstairs and downstairs. You can safely leave the other at the foot or top of the stairs. Coffee and tea for breakfast. No restaurant facilities. Add the cost of breakfast to the lodging cost when comparing prices with other hotels. Would I book it again? Sure, I know what I get for the price I pay.

Granted it was a Red Roof Inn, but I have stayed in them before and had a much better experience. Beds were not the best, and our room was insanely humid both days despite having the A/C on. Eventually found that there was a leak from our shower into the bedroom, when I stepped on a soaking wet carpet. Hotel could certainly stand for some investment from corporate.

Convenient to an annual sporting event we attend. Basic and functional room with good amenities like microwave and fridge. Clerk was gone when we tried to check in and had to wait a while. When we entered the room, it was freezing and the AC was set to 61 degrees. Had to turn on the heat for a bit to make it livable.

Room was ok but the shower was bad. This is a role in shower and the shower head would not stay in one place. No room cleaning for day 2 and 3. No fresh towels but they were able to provide fresh towel upon request at the reception. I would be visiting Amherst often and this would not be one of the hotels that I’ll be staying in.
