I liked the property. It was clean, but basic. For the price, I would expect that. The breakfast was pretty good and more than I expected for “complementary” break (toast, maybe an apple). I do recommend it for the price, value, and location.

The only thing that was not really good for me was the AC was very noisy so it was very distracting for me to sleep. Overall, the property was great.

Very dated, the furniture is falling apart. Found a hair in the bed. They definitely need to renovate to make it feel clean and feel like the $200 a night is worth it

I had a good stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Calgary Shawnessy. The room was large with a comfortable bed and a good desk for work. The finishes in the hotel are a bit dated but everything was clean. The location has many shops and restaurants close by and there is plenty of parking.

The staff at this property are very nice and accommodating, the hotel itself is another story. I was on the second floor in a king room. The second floor has a very strong musty oder to it. My room is non-smoking, although it smells like a smoking room. I had to leave the window open all the time to try and get fresh air into the room. The bed was clean and comfortable, the carpet is in need of being replaced. There were heaves in the carpet in areas. The bathroom had some upgrades, new flooring and vanity. The tub had been painted and in areas the paint was chipping off and you could see paint streaks down the side. This hotel needs an upgrade from flooring, paint, and bathrooms.
