Embassy Suites - St. Augustine was a great hotel to stay at during our visit to the area. It had a large beach, heated pool, hot tub, fire pits, and restaurants close enough to walk. It was not in a very congested area, so traffic nearby was not bad. The breakfast was delicious and the housekeeping staff was very efficient. The hotel was very clean and was decorated for Christmas. Only drawbacks are valet-only parking (but they were quick) and only one elevator that was far from our room (luckily it is only three floors, so it is easy to do the stairs.) I plan to stay there in the future and highly recommend it for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the St. Augustine area.

The property location is directly on the beach. I was very surprised at the state of our King suite. There was no water pressure in the main bathroom so we had to use the sink in the kitchen. The drain stopper in the bathtub was broken and had to be fixed while we occupied the room so maintenance was in our room for about 4 hours. There was no offer to switch our room. The towel bar was broken and there were 4 towels total provided. This resulted in many trips to the front desk (nobody answered the phone) which was understaffed and we spent most of our time standing in line. The walls in the bathroom had chipped and peeling paint and the tub was stained yellow and corroded on the bottom of the tub. It was so subpar and much less than what I expected from this caliber hotel. Perhaps they give the worst rooms to Expedia customers. I will add, the hotel did return the $22 resort fee which was a nice gesture but not enough for the $400 per night price of the room. Very disappointed in this stay.

Although it wasn't at full capacity, they gave us a room that had a water vent for the whole property and we heard water all night long in our bedroom and bathroom. The lights also didn't work. We brought it to the staff and they sent the engineer that confirmed that was normal in that room. We couldn't believe it. The next day we requested to change the room. They said manager would speak to us and they never did. They said a compensation would be given. Nothing so far. We've been there before and 39.00 for parking and an additional charge for resort was unacceptable. Breakfast items were horrendous. Coffee is horrible, etc etc. Not sure if we will ever go back.

hotel if very nicely decorated. Our first impression was good but check in not so great. The front desk people seemed to be busy and no eye contact and he never he told us where our room was so we wandered around for a bit - no mention of how to get wifi or much else. Like "here you go". But the wait staff was lovely and very attentive. Loved the beach bar and night cap at Rhum. Breakfast this AM was very yummy.

Beautiful property. Pool was great. Beach chairs and umbrellas available. Our room had hairs in the bathroom. Only Valet parking available. When we asked if there was self parking available, the employee gave a rude response. He assumed it was about money but we’ve had a couple bad experiences with Valets damaging our car in the past.

The grounds were beautiful and the beach was stunning!! The staff for the most part were wonderful, but the pool wait servers were not good at all. They didn't seem to actually want to work and make tips. We would ask for drinks and get completely ignored. That was really our only complaint. The bartenders were great though. Our kids loved the NA frozen drinks. Maybe a more broad menu for dinner would be good but not a deal breaker. Overall, we had a great time.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location right on the beach. The only slight negative is that the bar has last orders at 9.30pm during the week even if you’re residents, and there was no where other than the outside pool bar to get lunch on our last day.
