Just so relaxing the people running it made you feel at home. They were taking care of property constantly very well maintained.

The person checking us in should not be the face of the business. Very mechanical and borderline rude. The person checking us out however was extremely pleasant. The hotel is an old Super 8 that they have kept well. Pool was nice and plenty of parking. Beach is across the street and a awesome seafood restaurant is right beside the hotel. If you want a king room, they are all on the second level and there isn't an elevator. (at least that is what Mr. Personality told me when checking in). Overall, I would stay here again.

You get what you pay for with this property. Nothing fancy and is so close to the beach for the price. The bed was not really comfortable and the bathroom was starting to show major wear and tear.

Great mom.and.pop motel. It was clean.and the owners were very nice. The room was clean and we had a huge walk in shower. There was some damage in the bathroom frommage that could have been fixed but overall it was a good low price place to stay. Right across from the beach.

beach. Inaccurate description regarding restaurant, and bar on site. There was one right next door. Not impressed with food or service at Salt Life. Very small pool. Old hotel with some upgrades, but does need some work. I will say it was very, very clean, and quiet!

Ridiculous Fee
It was a rainy day, so we decided to check in at 2pm and wait for the rain to stop. The hotel was not busy, I'd guess less than 10% of the rooms were occupied. Even though our room was ready, we were told there was a $10 fee to check in before 3pm. I have traveled on business for over 30 years, and NEVER heard of such a thing. Late check out fee, yes, but NEVER a fee to check in an hour early if the room is ready. I do not mind paying for what I get, but I hate to be cheated and nickled and dimed to death. Plus there was NO CLOCK in the room, the my wife wanted to take a bath but could not because the tub did not have a stopper.

Get what you pay for
The check in process was weird. A lady that barely spoke English started checking me in then out of nowhere a younger guy walked up and took over. He was rude!! The only thing this place has going for them is the location. The room was dirty, beds were very uncomfortable, rude staff, and lots of noise and outside lights from the restaurant next door.
