I must say i'm 66 years old and traveled around the whole world and expect the best and this hotel especially for a Best Western really surprised me. Found my home away from home here in St Ignace. The only thing negative I can say about the place was typical breakfast buffet but i expected that

The property was old but it was maintained very well. The room was clean and smelled very good. Staff were supper friendly and helpful. Towels were changed daily and beds were made when asked. Breakfast was great for being included in the price. The only thing that I would advise is to replace the carpet in the rooms. The carpet in the room was old. The location was very close to Doc. to Mackinac Island and Castle Rock. This would be perfect location for summertime travelers. The outdoor pool looked awesome, but we didn’t get to use, since it was closed due to the season. Indoor pool was ok. There was a fire pit which kids enjoyed a lot. View was beautiful from our balcony. I will stay here again if I return to this area.

The Michigan building was nothing like the website pictures. It was like an old motel that was somewhat renovated. We use Expedia all of the time and this motel was a disappointment.

Great Hotel!
Clean, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff. After booking one night and checking into our room, we decided to add another night. The room we were in was already booked the next night by someone else. The desk clerk worked diligently to find us a room we could stay two nights in. There is a playground for kids and at night a campfire they set up with fixings for s’mores. Beautiful view of Lake Huron. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great trip! Grant was wonderful at check in! We came with friends and he was able to get us in the same building and on the same floor! It really made the stay for us! I'm so grateful for his help. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Our lake view was amazing and we really had a great stay! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the great staff!
