"The hotel was beautiful and we had a lovely stay in a king bed room. Unfortunately the fan wasn’t functioning in the bathroom for showers or toilet use. Additionally, the area has a lot of homeless individuals hanging around outside the front of the hotel, but the hotel does have security usually standing right outside. "

"We stayed here for one night while passing through. We brought our toddler along so we wanted a hotel in a safe area and close to public transport access. The stop is right across the street. It’s a short ride to Fisherman’s Wharf and surrounded by all the high end stores. We felt safe walking at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our daughter really enjoyed the glass elevator view! Nice, quiet hotel in the heart of Union Square. I’d stay here again in the future. "

"Aging hotel in good nick, great value. Amazing location in the middle of action around Union Square and walking distance to financial district and moscone center. Two blocks away from the homeless chaos of the tenderloin, streets are relatively clean and safe. "
