The Grey Fox inn has been one of our favourite hotels in Stowe for years. Perfect all year long with the pool in summer the lounge area and the property is very nice and quiet. The bike paths right behind the hotel. The rooms for every type of stay. We always have a nice time at the Grey Fox in Stowe! Thank you from Montreal

Rooms have updated furnishings and interiors but lack attention to details. Bathroom lacked a working fan. Fan was there and very dirty but switch was covered. Communication with site was limited and even after providing requested info I was not sent information prior to check in. It’s clear they’re working on improvements but the lack of breakfast and hallway smell led to rating.

Lovely newer and clean room. Bed was quite comfortable. Front desk (owner?) was super nice and helpful. The only drawback is that it is a little far from the main town and so we needed to drive there instead of walk (which we knew when we booked but there can be quite a surprising amount of traffic in the little town!)

Overnight room was beautiful and very clean. Only disappointment was we picked a fireplace room and it is basically for show. Glowed red, no flames, no heat at all.

Grey Fox Inn was the perfect place for our stay. We only stayed one night but I was very impressed by the charm and cleanliness of the place. Felt extremely safe.
