Overall our stay was excellent. The only glitch was the thermostat controls are anything but intuitive and we wrestled in the middle of the night to try to kill the ac and it’s loud fan to no avail. I would suggest a simple card in the room with clear directions would go a long way to solve this.

Outdated dirty noisy
I wouldn't recommend this for even 1 night. Upon arriving the lobby was dirty. No staff available to check in, just a sign that they will be back. The lobby started filling up with people. Then lots of kids, apparently they rent out rooms for birthday parties? My room is from the 90's, old, dated, dark and dreary. Mustard yellow carpet and walls, dirty worn carpet. Bed lumpy and not comfortable. Room smelled of toxic air freshners and cleaners. The room above me is not soundproof, so much noise and banging. I went upstairs to investigate and a family was just checking out?!? Went to the front desk to complain and no manager on duty,staff member could care less, says manager will call me. The morning, breakfast is basic at best. Even the oatmeal is old. My bathroom door handle is broken, so is shower head. Went to front desk and Brandi says they will fix it, then says that the noise is normal and to expect it with Hockey season and hockey teams staying every weekend. A complete lack of empathy, says they will credit me $30 for my trouble. I'm presently staying at Marriott, 1 million times better. The Wyndham brand is complete garbage!

Enjoyed my stay in Strathmore. There was a walking trail and a lovely lake. Very close by. The rooms were very spacious.
