My room wasn’t properly maintained and huge amounts of condensation poured down the inside of the windows, pooling around the electrical outlet. Black mould was forming on the walls so it was obviously not a new problem. As a result the room was freezing, and using the noisy heater would wake me up in the night. There was also sticky old dust and other people’s pills under the bed. The staff were wonderful and so helpful, but I can’t rate the property highly given the poor maintenance and unsafe conditions in the room.

We were unimpressed with the Graduate. We wanted to try it because it has some history in the U district, but really it’s too dated and a bit dirty. It’s not at all worth the room rate. The Residence Inn next block over is so much better, there’s no comparison. The Mountaineering Club is a cocktail bar atop the hotel. Massive numbers of (drunk) adults and students will be in the main lobby aggregating around the elevators. It’s completely annoying and loud as can be. The rooms themselves are marginal. Very dated and the bathrooms were old and a bit musty and moldy. None of this is a surprise to anybody who works at the hotel. It is what it is, and they can’t make it a new hotel. It’s aged and it shows.

My boyfriend and I travelled to Seattle for a comedy show I gifted him for our anniversary. The comedian had sold out in California and I was able to get tickets for Seattle so I decided to make a trip out of it. I told the story to front desk worker which I wish I remember her name and she gifted us a bottle of wine to celebrate. We were so grateful for the hospitality. The room was spacious and clean. The location was great as it was across the street from the train which made our transportation so convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Very aesthetically pleasing hotel with great amenities, awesome rooftop bar and restaurant with amazing views, clean and safe, easily accessible, valet parking, in an area with tons of dining options, stores, grocery, and everything you really need. Also easy to get to from the freeway and easy to navigate to other areas of Seattle from.

Really enjoyed my stay!
I like this hotel. The beds are really comfortable, and the location is solid. I love the Mountaineering Club and the food vouchers for either breakfast in the cafe or food/drink up on the roof is a nice bonus. Hip and fun for when you aren’t working!

trip to the University District
This hotel is beautifully decorated and has a fun theme. The lobby is gorgeous and comfortable, especially the fireplace! The service is slow - I waited 12 minutes for someone to return to the counter and check me in. But the cleaning staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. The desk and chair were not comfortable but fortunately the lobby had great work areas. I would stay here again for a short weekend trip but it is not ideal for a longer business trip.

A little worn, but lots of character. The surrounding area is typical for a place close to a university campus. Plenty of nearby places to eat, and close to the light rail.

The property is very old. They doesn’t have a parking lot. You must pay for valet parking $45 dollars a day. The room is very old and dirty. Bathroom is super small and doesn’t have a ventilation. Towels is old and dirty. I found a bug on my bed too. Is not sound not proof. You can hear everything around you. They doesn’t have closet. If you decided to park on the street is on your own risk. We found a car park on the street in front of the hotel got jack. Someone broke their window and steal all their stuff. Basically is not a family friendly safe area. Never come back.

The water saving shower head was terrible. The hotel was obviously older, which some may like. It was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located near UW and the train station.
