Sound transfers easily from the hallway and nearby rooms. Decor is dated but seemed to be clean. Breakfast area was unmanaged and used by many guests throughout the day. Time should be allocated for the staff to frequently clean that area.

Not quiet, the walls are thin. Bring ear plugs to sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning in the bathroom was a bit sketchy but the towels were soft and fluffy and one of the beds was not made up properly. The shower worked perfectly and the breakfast had fresh fruit. I’ve stayed here before and will stay again.

Two of the outlets in our room didn’t work and two of the bulbs in the bathroom were also out. There were two huge holes in the window screen, as well as several smaller holes, so for the first two nights of our three night stay, we were unable to open the window at night or during the day to air out the room making it impossible to stay in room for more than a few hours without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. When we did show it to the front desk, however, they did change the screen out thankfully, while we were out during the day. Just a little ridiculous the room rate was still fairly high for such poor quality.

The staff were just wonderful. Kitchen staff worked hard and ensured that food was available and the area for breakfast was clean. Our room was clean and comfortable-there were five of us staying in the family suite. No issues whatsoever. I am appalled to read the negative reviews about this place. Every staff member I spoke to was happy,and helpful and gracious. We enjoyed our quite lengthy stay immensely and if we are ever in the area again, this would be our first choice.

Overall a great place.
The hotel was better than most in Alaska. The prices were very low for this type of hotel. The only drawback was the internet which was not great. I was asked to park in the main parking lot and walk or take a bus to my lodge. I have a pinched nerve in my leg and walking is painful.

The staff was very helpfull. The room is small. No temperature control. Be sure to read all the "How to do." On there desk. Expecially how to run the shower. The breakfast was great.
