We’ve been to Hawaii 5 times and this was our first time staying at a resort and were blown away. The rooms were really nice, the property is beautiful and well kept, all the staff we encountered were friendly, and the pool and lagoon were amazing!! Dining was a little limited but all good. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it!

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The views of the ocean from the property are unbelievable. It is very beautiful all around. The options of different activities that are available to purchase are easy and convenient to schedule. They pick you up right at the property. I do wish we knew ahead of time about the construction going on across from our room before we got there. Also there was no warning of several of the property restaurants and bars being closed. Had to leave the property to enjoy a decent meal and drinks at fair prices. Was inconvenienced by having to go to another floor in the elevator Everytime we needed ice. Because the ice machine did not work any day the week that we were there.

Nice hotel with all the fun activities to offer. Room cleaning staff came everyday to make the bed/empty the trash/replace towels eventho it says they will only come on certain day. Totally happy with the hotel. Will return for next time visiting Kona.

This my 5th time on this property I love the view and all the walk I never had a bad taste on. My maud till this visit on my check in lady was rude and help Les because I bock true Expedia she said didn’t gave me what I reserve I reserve 6 rooms for my friends on my 32 anniversary wedding she put 2 couples in 1 tower 3 couples and I different tower and 1 by self and a different tower she not even try to help she said next time you should reserve direct to Hilton not true 3r party I ask to talk to a manager and she even said no manager on premises till next day I reserve 6 rooms ocean view and king side beds I got 2 queens partial ocean view and my friends all over the place shame 😡

This property is super huge. It looks good on paper but once you get there, be prepared to do a lot of walking. My husband is recovering from a bypass, and we were not able to do much because of the amount of walking it takes to do each activity. The place is really beautiful but don’t count on the tram or the boat. The tram is super slow and hard to catch. The boat only runs on Saturday.

The property is secluded, but there are stores and restaurants nearby. There is a tram that runs to take you to the different towers and on-site restaurants. This is an expensive property, so even with a lower price on Expedia, there are additional property fees that added a substantial cost. Including an $48/day resort fee. The on-site car rental made day trips possible, without paying the $55/day fee to park a rental car.

Lagoon, pool areas and resort decoration and landscaping are great, staff is very nice, but I don’t think they deliver enough quality and service for the money they charge. Take time to read the details when booking as there are $150 of hidden fees per day. ($48 of unavoidable resort fee, $48 of parking and $55 per person for a low quality breakfast buffet) Food and drink options in the resort are very limited and very overpriced for the low quality they serve. After being scammed the first day we ate in the nearby restaurants (high quality fair price) for the remaining 10 days of our stay. They also called to our room phone several times to try sell us a timeshare within the resort. I don’t like to be bothered by sales people during my vacation. Room service didn’t show up 2 days and only did a good job 3 days out of 10. Checking in took us almost 1 hour and there was only a line of two people in front of us.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities

Warn people of construction on property I could not even take a shower the morning I was to leave for a 13 hour trip home! Ridiculous noise level during the day. Shower not working on day 2. I would never go back
