Before I get started. The staff was phenomenal. They were kind. They smiled. They greeted you. They did the best to take care you. They made the stay bearable. Now my first room that I checked into the door jam was bent. You can tell that someone had pried the door open. The room should be out of inventory until its repaired. It had a chair that sat in this huge open space. No arm rest so you couldn't come into the room and sit for a minute unless you sat on the bed in your street clothes. They changed the room. This room had a recliner what a novel idea. Same size room got it right. Unfortunately each time we left the room there was a cockroach on the door. It could have been from a previous guest. But three of them hmmm. Day stay yes, the staff will make it worth it. Longer hmmm, not sure. La Quinta can do better. I stayed at a LaQuinta in Ocean City a month ago. They can do better.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms have cockroaches, they were dirty as if not swept and mopped. The dirtiness of the entry should have been enough for us to turn around. I tried speaking to the manager but he was too busy on the phone. I cannot believe it has a rating of 7. I was fooled. Never again. Expedia should look at the hotels they promote.

There was construction going on next door. Little loud when at the pool. I wish the front doors opened automatically. You had to pull the door open. A pain when your hands are full. Breakfast was basic. Not much for a girl who can’t have gluten. The room was nice. The bathroom could use some updating. The front desk help were excellent. Very sweet and kind. Pet friendly hotel which was a plus for us. The pool was awesome. Enjoyed that.

I was able to request an accessible and dog friendly room, which was clean and didn’t smell like anything but hotel cleaning- the fridge was set to freeze which led to one of our sodas exploding but it was just a turn of the knob to fix. While the staff was all friendly, we felt June deserved a special shout out for helping so much! The waffles, muffins, coffee and juice were good at breakfast but I do not recommend the sausage or eggs unless dry/cold food is your thing. We didn’t use the pool though saw kids enjoying it, so we assume it’s ok. It’s nowhere near fancy but no bugs and practical and not as expensive as “fancy”. I’d recommend it.

The staff was very kind and courteous. The room was spacious and, even being by the airport, it was pretty quiet. Our room was ready when we arrived and when we did run into an issue with the cleanliness, it was easily fixed.

The hotel is in need of a lot of cosmetic work: peeling ceilings, elevator flooring, bathroom walls flaking. However the room itself was very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, the linens were clean, the AC worked well, and the breakfast selection was adequate.

The best thing about this place is Miss June and Miss Janet. They were awesome!!! So friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness didnt exist. The place was outdated and dirty. Definitely not worth the money...
