When we arrived, the front desk attendant told us that the King room we had already paid for was unavailable, and he only had queen beds. We asked how that could be since we paid in full when I booked the room on Expedia. Magically the room was now available. Was not impressed and felt like he was trying to take advantage of us.

Absolutely excellent hotel and fabulous staff. They do customer service brilliantly. Very clean. We attended a family wedding held at the hotel and stayed for a week. It was a perfect experience, seamless from start to finish and we would highly recommend this hotel. They know what they’re doing. The wedding service and reception were perfect. You will feel very welcome here. And it is close and convenient to many things in Winnipeg. The Forks is only a short walk away lots of food choices right across the street for eating a walk-in clinic/pharmacy if needed. And only a very short walk away from sporting events, NHL Winnipeg Jets games. Which we were able to get playoff tickets. Great pools. Again, Highly recommend if you want a downtown Winnipeg experience in a fast growing walkable city. Excellent customer service, very well managed property.

The direct vicinity of this hotel was a weirdly sketchy little pocket of downtown Winnipeg. I’ve been to Winnipeg before and never felt particularly unsafe, but I did many times in the area of this hotel. Also, our bathroom smelled quite musty.

Very central and attached to a number of amenities (conference centre). Parking is poorly marked and in a public lot (for a higher cost than what the lot charges on its own). No included breakfast either, if that’s your thing. Room itself was beautiful and very clean and the staff were helpful. They warned us to remove everything from our car and offered to store anything we didn’t want to take up to our room.

The room was very clean and staff were very accommodating. There was a nice area off from Starbucks where we sat down every AM to meet and have breakfast before going off to do our sightseeing, etc.
