This place is great. We travel often but this is a standout!!! Special kudos to Sarah at the front desk, who greeted us with her delightful personality and made us feel so welcome. The room annd bed were fantastic too. Every aspect of our stay was terrific.

Didn’t realize when I booked but the location had a complementary wine tasting. Everyone who went to it was sooo personable. Normally not my scene, but everyone was so welcoming. Great breakfast spread too. The area is very walkable. I took a nearby path and ended up at Salem College very close by. It is America’s oldest women’s college dating back to colonial times. Many of the buildings look that old, but are very well kept. Just a beautiful experience all around. Clean rooms too!

This was one of the neatest hotels I have ever stayed in. Love the free wine and cheese 5-7, cookies and milk 8-9pm and a wonderful comp breakfast. I will definetly stay here again.

I’ve stayed at The Brookstown Inn multiple times over the years and it is always a nice experience. The only issue with this latest stay was, in the main building, the room we were in was rather hot (end of summer). The AC couldn’t keep up. However, Sara, with the front desk, did all she could to make things more comfortable, even offering to upgrade us to a suite. We decided to stay put (the fam was tired), so she credited a night back to us. The service here is top notch, and the vibe is awesome, so we will continue to stay at The Brookstown when we’re in the area.

I was looking for a nice place for a one night stay after flying into Greensboro. We were headed to the mountains the next day. The room and bathroom were spacious.. The perks of providing wine and cheese as well as the cookies in the evening were lovely. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Brookstown is worth a look !
Enjoyable stay. great property with a nice vintage style. The amenities are great : microwave oven, mid size mini fridge, large rooms,nice breakfast, daily complimentary wine and cheese in the evening, followed by cookies and milk at 8-9 pm. Great location near Old Salem, plenty of free parking, right next to the visitor center. Large bathroom with toiletries, hot water, good water pressure. This is my 3rd time there. It is my preferred property when I visit Winston-Salem.

This is an exceptional lodging experience. The historic buildings are really cool, and the way the hotel has been designed is just really neat. Everything was so well done. From the first glimpse of the building to checkout the next day was one great moment to the next - with wine and cheese, milk and cookies, a full breakfast, decadent bed linens, huge room, great price, Sally the cat ... I can't say enough. Our son just moved to Winston-Salem, and we'll be coming back for regular visits. We'll be regular guests for sure, and I can't wait for our next stay.

Very nice property. We just stayed two days on our way to Nashville Tennessee. Nice restaurants within walking distance. salt and Sage was fantastic. Alado the Hotel had Wine and cheese complementary every night and cookies and milk as well. Great stay
