Hotel lovely. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Staff very attentive but did not act upon our issues very swiftly. Also still awaiting return of 100 euro securtity dep . Yet again having been promised an email today this has not happened. Previous stay prompted to return but after this visit would reconside a return.

The most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent as was the room and the breakfast. We had spa treatments that were also fantastic.

The hotel was very good but not quite at the standard I’d expect at the price. A tap in the shower came off in my hand, some elements of the pool area were not on or working including the sauna being off. Who’s got the time to start it themselves. The breakfast service lacked much charm or enthusiasm and the offering was very average considering it cost an additional fee of around £20 per head. Whilst the room was very comfortable I would not choose this hotel again as I don’t feel it represented true luxury at the price. It was in a great location, front of house was good and the bar very reasonable. Next time I’ll just nip to the bar and try a different hotel.

Thought it was good but lacked the 5 star touch. More 4 than 5. Pool was tiny with only 4 lounges so once there was 4 people in the pool there was no chance to use it. The shower in the room was a bit dangerous with the hot water not regulated and climbing in and out over a bathtub that didn’t have any purpose. The breakfast was ok but again the danish pastry’s were stale. Just small things but for a 5 star property it should not be the case.

I liked the ambiance of the hotel it felt very welcoming bright light and the receptionists were so friendly. The location was perfect for walking around and plenty of choice of tapas bars. I particularly found good that the hotel was also sound proof so a good sleep was had.

Well short of expectations
This is a lovely hotel, we usually stay at the Meliá but checked this one out on our last visit. We were very disappointed to have been put in an attic type room on the 4th floor, we asked to move and were given a better room but still on the 4th floor. The issue is that you have to get the elevator to the third floor, then quite a walk to a staircase where you have to heave your luggage up and down a flight of stairs. The pool and bar are on the 4th floor but cannot be accessed from the rooms, you have to go down the stairs to the third floor, then get the elevator up to the pool on the 4th. Finally, the maid kept taking my wife’s key that we left in the room card slot, also turned off the AC, and did a very poor job of making up the room. We were really looking forward to this hotel but I’m afraid it’s back to the Meliá for me.

Nicely situated close to the old town and the beaches. Bus C6 from airport drops off 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Staff at reception were very professional and helpful and breakfast options were very good.
