"The hotel stay was great. The outside & some of the inside lobby was undergoing renovation. The garage to park was hidden by traffic barriers so we had to do a u-turn to get into the garage but once found wasn’t a problem. The room was very nice & breakfast was good too. The one problem I had was with hotels.com. I got the ‘upgrade’ for wifi included with a foood/beverage credit for which the hotel did not see the food/bev credit on the account. I couldn’t talk to a live person at hotels.com to resolve the problem so the hotel made up some of the difference. The stay itself was great, comfortable, good bar, nice helpful front desk, covered parking, and very close to a metro station. On the other hand, Hotels.com dropped the ball on their ‘upgrade’!! "

"The carpet was old, torn, ripped! The sheets and pillowcases were clean! The trash cans did not have trash bags inside them . "

"There is not a free breakfast, and room cleaning isn’t there unless you specifically ask for it…. getting that out of the way up front. As long as you realize that going in, the rest of the hotel is just lovely and comfy. There are tons of nearby cafes and restaurants within a short walk, and they will clean your room, but you gotta ask via phone the night before or the morning of by 7am. "
