"Looking forward to going again "

"Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks. "

"Let’s start with Mary, the property owner. She was wonderful from our first communication to our departure. The property was perfect for our 5 couple trip to play pickleball and relax. The kitchen may be dated but it is well stocked. I would highly recommend using Mary’s “staff” to make a few meals for you. They work their magic In that kitchen Pickleball all morning and hang by the beautiful pool and get in to the jacuzzi all afternoon. Then hang out and eat dinner on the wonderful covered porch. It was a perfect spot for our getaway!"

"Our Stay at Hotel Hondo was exceptional! Our hosts Tori and Patrick couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was so cool and boho! I’m obsessed with the decor. Location doesn’t get better. If you’re in LB this stay is a must. Support these 2, their doing a great job!!"

"Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again"
