The fact this is an older run down motel wasn’t an issue for us. What is the issue is the room smelled no no it reeked of smoke. Because of that any sleep we did get was not good. The top sheet had some kinda stain on it and the toilet bowl had urine down the outside of the bowl. The wall units fan didn’t shut off at all. It was loud but probably did us a favour drowning out the commotion outside. Very sketchy people around. We checked in late as we were driving all day and checked out early to continue our drive. The lady that checked us in was nice but knew she said. Third day on the job and left alone on a night shift. She did her best but would have charged me twice if I didn’t say something. The guy working in the morning wasn’t mister chipper but wasn’t unfriendly either. The coffee offered was awful but hey at least they offered complimentary coffee. FYI asking for a new room woulda been more inconvenient and exhausting for my family of 4 then it was worth as to why we sucked it up and left well enough alone. Wouldn’t recommend unless your a smoker and wouldn’t stay again

The property is in old downtown area and is an area that is being renovated but still has old charm. Some cool restaurants and bars in area. Not just cookie cutter fast food places. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and heat was good even though getting cold outside. Front desk staff was courteous and friendly. Only complaint is about the bathroom floor it was Kinda torn up around the bath tip and had a hole that looked like they had done some plumbing repairs not completely finished

In the historic part of the city , an old motel that is slowly being renovated Unfortunately we had a small child above our room who couldn’t stop running. I felt sorry for the mother We had stayed there previously but I can’t recommend it. You get what you pay for

Located in a “old” part of town, my travelling partners described the area as “crack city”. Did not feel safe, rooms were old, dirty, noisy, you could hear everything going on and when someone shut their door it rattled your room. Not recommended. Definitely get what you paid for.
