i’ve seen that past management had the hotel in a poor state, but with new management they’ve been improving the hotel. it’s in a slightly bad area of the city, but they’ve done a good job of cleaning it up thus far, there’s definitely still some work to do but great job!

Hotel was not great, it was noisy, you can hear people from your room to the other. No safety room lock were damaged.

The initial room was filthy. I have pictures of the bathroom with dirty tub, toilet looked like it wasnt cleaned in months with something red around the lid and base, looks like blood on the bathroom door and room was a general mess with alit of unpainted wall matches and broken items. I complained n showed pictures to the front desk and they changed my room. The morning of checkout at 3am, staff tried to enter my room, that had a do not disturb sign, saying they didnt have this room assigned to no one. Absolutely horrible experience.

First of all, what hotel in the entire world *doesn't* accept American Express?! I've stayed in bombed-out hellholes of the third world that still had a working credit card machine. After an hour of haggling, Management finally waved the deposit, but come on! Room itself had a crickety bathroom fan. The towels were covered in human faeces, which probably explains the lack of *toilet paper* in the room. The bed was decent. I realize its NE Calgary, but there were a fair number of, shall we say, transients about. Kept double sure to keep the car locked. Will not be staying again. Avoid.
