"Great stay. Very clean. Convenient to train station (12 minute walk). We used as our base for day trip to Lourdes. Bordeaux is a beautiful city. We did take a taxi/uber to the main city area. That is not writhing walking distance. Our room had a beautiful river view."

Staff was friendly, caring and helpful. Special thanks to Malika, who was very caring and helpful. Parking is available close by although it is a tight one. "Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
