Great location in Tribeca with fantastic access to the subway right outside the hotel. Very clean room and friendly staff. Only downside was the small size of the room and lack of natural light (we stayed on the 2nd floor).

I originally booked this hotel for my solo trip to the West Village to see an Off-Broadway show. I chose The Frederick Hotel because of its highly convenient location near the subway. I also wanted a bathtub (which is available in some of the rooms). As Expedia misguided me, call the hotel to confirm if you want a bathtub. My sister decided to join me at the last minute; the hotel found us a smaller room with a delightful bathtub. Both rooms had a great view of One WTC. We both loved the hotel; the entire staff was terrific! We had a wonderfully filling breakfast every morning (compliments of the Frederick) at Serafina Italian Restaurant Tribeca.

I visit NY often, and the Frederick is a beautiful hotel in comparison to other options. It's walkable to a lot of options (restaurants/bars, shopping, sites, and subways/trains). It's very clean and even the small room is nice. The walls are ridiculously thin, though. You can hear every single thing that goes on in every room.

Lovely room. Very nice bathroom. Firm mattress. We were in a corner room with two windows that open. It was a small room but very nice, and exactly what we expected.

Noisy at night. Staff not overly friendly. Rooms are small but clean, well equipped and in good shape. Could make it clearer how to contact the front desk. Phone buttons do nothing.

This is one of my favorite hotel stays ever. Very convenient location, right on top of a 1/2/3 line station, only a block away from A/C station. Lots of great dining options around. High quality free breakfast. Comfortable bed. The entire staff was phenomenal- shoutout to Antonio and David at Primos, the fantastic onsite cocktail bar. My one and only complaint (and it’s a small one) is the shower was clearly designed by a man. Rain head shower right in the middle and nowhere to prop up your leg to shave! Luckily they leave you a shower cap though. Thanks for the wine in the room- it’s a nice touch!
