My reservation was canceled without proper notice and I was left to pay double the price per night. Thr agreement through Expedia was "pay in person" not 3 days in advance of arrival. The agreement was that you would NOT be able to cancel 3 days before the trip. This is definitely bad business practices especially when the hotel supply in this area is limited.

The hotel needs a Reno. They said they were getting ready to do that but in the meantime it's not to my liking, especially for a Marriott. There was a funky smell in the rooms. Staff was nice. The area was rough, restaurants were gross. Subway was the best thing we had that week.

Eggcellent property, Excellent crew
Very good property, clean, great location with excellent people managing it. Rose and her team were top notch. I have barely encountered a crew so courteous and smiling. They will sure make a 4 star stay 5 star by their attitude and friendliness. @Marriot - you are indeed lucky to have these people.

Decent property for the area. Room was average in cleanliness, bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I did not try the breakfast so I can’t rate that. Biggest complaint is the elevator is broken (still!). I stayed there last week and again this week. The elevator was broken last week and I was dismayed to find out it was broken again this week! I assumed (my mistake) it would be fixed by now. Both times my room was on the second floor. Fortunately, I don’t have any health or mobility issues that kept me from using the stairs. But, if I had a lot of luggage I would have been ticked off. The facility doesn’t offer a discount or any compensation for the not having a working elevator. In fact, they just have a sign at the front desk saying “sorry for your inconvenience “….. which is basically saying “as long as you continue to pay full rate to stay here we’re not going to be in a hurry to fix the elevator”. It’s too bad Expedia doesn’t have a way to notify potential guests about issues like this.

One night stay.
Nice and friendly staff at the front desk. The elevator was broken, so we had to carry our suitcase up the stairs. There was no lotion in the room and we were told there was none available at the property. The phone at front desk was never answered, even though the lady was sitting right there. Probably a system malfunction and not the lady’s fault.
