Impressively maintained old farm house and barns. Given the limitations of the layout, the owners have done a remarkable job of attending to the comfort of their guests. The room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable Sharing a bathroom/shower with other guests was initially somewhat uncomfortable, but we all quickly adopted a routine that met everyone's needs. The setting is perfect for leisurely trips to the northern entrance to Baxter park and to numerous adventures outside of the park. The highlight of staying at Bradford House are the fantastic breakfasts.
We stayed here for one night in the attic room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. The owners were friendly and best of all, breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed breakfast here more than anywhere else we’ve been in a long time. Thank you so much for a great stay! Would definitely stay here again.
The barn was amazing. Nice property with walking trails.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This place was once a gem in its heyday but its currently in need of a great deal of love and refurbishment. Cracks in the walls, peeling wallpaper, generally feeling rundown and depressing. Did get the feeling that the proprietors were into running a B&B anymore.
Kenny and his family were very nice and generous. We had a great time staying here. The house transports you back to a different time with all the antique knick-knacks and fixtures. However, all modern amenities like heating, hot water, etc are available. The bed was comfortable and bathroom had a great soaking tub. The breakfast was very good and made fresh each day. There were places to eat and a general store across the street.
This 1843 farmhouse is quaintly furnished with antiques including a very old wooden stove in the kitchen. The property is on the National Historic Registry. The documentation as well as pictures on the wall help give guests an understanding of the history of the home and the barn. The brothers who own/manage Bradford house are attempting to take it back to it's farming roots little by little with chickens, rabbits and Rosemary patches. We were lucky to get a tour from the owner while his brother made breakfast. The rooms are upstairs with a shared bathroom. The livingroom has a closet full of games (one was a kid's quiz game from the 50's that we failed) and a comfy gas fireplace. Breakfast was delicious omellets made from farm eggs, home fries, fruit, tea or coffee and toast. We were there on a chilly day and the place was a bit cool, but there were heaters in the room and the bathroom and the manager asked if we needed them turned up. The town is very small, so don't plan on services late at night, but we had a fantastic BBQ called Flatlanders across the street. Would love to visit this place again!
