"The building opposite our room is under construction so the noise would wake us up around 7am."

"The hotel was in an excellent location within downtown Boston - near the Prudential Center, Symphony Hall and plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a subway station, known as The T was right outside the hotel door. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. Check-in was quick and the staff, including the concierge, quickly get taxis whenever they’re needed. The room was spotless - modern and up to date. Two concerns regarding the bathroom. The hotel needs to replace all of the rooms with these twin doors, which don’t close completely, with either a pocket door or one standard door on hinges. And what is it with these toilets? They are too low. They seem to be relatively new, but most people always have in their homes chair height, not just for people who have disabilities, but any oversized person, height and or weight. Neither of these concerns would discourage us from staying at this hotel in the future."

"Don't let the fancy name fool you. This is a two story motel, magically lifted from 1960s California, and deposited on Huntington Avenue in Boston. How it has survived here without being turned into a glass tower or yet another part of Northeastern University, god only knows, but now you can stay here. On the plus sides, the rooms have been redone recently and are pretty nice, and the common space is well maintained. On the down sides, the breakfast is pretty disappointing, the bathrooms are tiny, and it's confusing and chaotic to navigate through the large and sprawling building. You can probably do better."
