We had a great stay. The staff were super helpful and courteous. The location was quiet and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Beautiful setting and nice outdoor pool.

The room above us had a pipe burst and flooded our room as well. We had water coming through the ceiling light fixtures and walls. Our room was flooded and not inhabitable. The manager was very nice, apologetic but we moved to another motel for the remainder of stay and got a refund.

Great location.
Walking distance to downtown. Clean, good comfort. No complaints. Good location at the end of the town, far enough from crowds and close enough to walk to bars and restaurants.

It's a very nice place to stay in Solvang—a spacious room with a balcony, a comfortable king-size bed, and a bathtub jacuzzi. Also, there's a hot tub downstairs and a small pool. They provide Danishes and coffee/tea in the mornings.

This motel (yes, it's definitely a motel and not a hotel) is fine for the price. It's clean enough and I'm ok with bare bones. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back as there's lots of street noise. If you are there on a Monday morning, you'll also hear the trash pick up. The walkways are outside so you'll also hear your neighbors walking by.

Very walkable property at start of the major street, near a corner store. Room was not clean despite waiting for it to be ready. Bedspread had makeup, had to clean headboard, mold in bathroom soap holder, and curtains did not close all the way. Used a coat hanger to clip the curtains closed because the people across from us were on the patio and could look into our room.

The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was small but hit the spot after a long day of walking. The staff was pleasant. We could hear the room above using the sink and flushing the toilet but it wasn't horrible or sleep disturbing. Good parking. A bit of a walk distance to town on a busy street (first property coming in to town) but we were able to find parking in town if we left by 9. I'd stay here again

We were given a double queen beds with dirty sheets. This made it feel sketchy. The vents, floors, floor boards were all dirty. It made me wish I had brought slippers from home. When my wife complained to the front desk. Milly tried her best to make the situation better. That's why we're have it a one star. The manager however should not be dealing with the public. She was rude and aggressive with an elderly women. She made it seem offering breakfast was doing us a favor because it was complimentary. When confronted by the elderly customer why they had run out an hour before the end time the manager snapped and said she could just stop doing it if customers were going to complain. If you are going to offer a complimentary pastry and coffee make sure there is enough. There is no need to be rude and act like you are doing us a favor. The other front desk person said oh brother, threw her pen and rolled her eyes. Also the phone in our room didn't work, a lamp didn't work and the security cameras are decorative. Buyer beware.
