"My review is atypical in the sense that I had a situation. I had lost a pouch, a sort of mobile petty cash envelope I was traveling with. When I contacted the hotel to see if by any chance it had been found, they were able to share the good news that a fellow guest had found it in the parking lot and turned it in. I had been told how nice the people of Calgary are, but the staff at Hotel Blackfoot went above and beyond. They were responsive, supportive and helped me to retrieve my belonging. Obviously, one never thinks about the 'situation' that might arise, because when traveling for business or pleasure, there are other things on the mind. When something does arise, however, you can learn a lot about yourself and others in their ability and willingness to respond. I had two good meals in the bar, my room was comfortable and clean, but what I'll remember about this property is the people. It's always about the people. Thanks you guys for the kindness you showed me. "
