Whole the hotel room and location were great, the staff at the check in desk were slightly rude and dismissive. For instance , they didn’t notify us about the airport shuttle and the fact that you had book it in advance!

I stayed in this property for the holidays and I can attest that I had one of the most memorable stays in Tokyo. The staff are so approachable, friendly and the rooms are spacious, the breakfast menu is wonderful. I will definitely visit this property again!

The check in process was seamless, staff was very courteous and prompt. The bell staff took our luggage straight to the room and oriented us to the hotel. Dining options were very nice.

I just stayed two nights at Grand Nikko. In general, it was very good, but I want to share breakfast for kids if you travel with kids. I booked one room for four, two adults and two kids. When I checked in, I was told that only adults had coupons for breakfast, and we had to pay for the kids. They said kids would stay for free, but no breakfast. I added breakfast for our two-night stay, which cost an additional $51. That ended up we had to pay more for the kids’ breakfast. Does that make sense? They didn't mention the breakfast was only for adults.
