"Enjoyed our stay in all respects. I’d read that the location wasn’t great BUT our group thought I’d was great. Terrific restaurants nearby, walking distance to everywhere. Would stay again."

"Extremely convenient location - steps away from Monastiraki Square shops, restaurants and metro station. We had a large city view suite for 4 adults. The bathroom was clean and modern and a pleasure to use. The beds were the most comfortable of our month long trip through Egypt and Greece. We dined at the restaurant for breakfast on 2 occasions. The buffet offered a wide choice of breakfast options. Staff at the hotel are great! So friendly, welcoming and ever ready to help. We greatly appreciated this and felt very welcome. Everything was fabulous and we stayed here twice on this trip, both at the start and end of our holiday and will definitely stay again if we are ever fortunate enough to travel to Athens again. Only downside would be the shared elevators. Just have patience as they are always busy."

"My goodness, what a wonderful hotel. The staff was terrific, helpful in every way, and taught me usable Greek too. Hospitality to its finest at the Mati Seafront, do not hesitate to stay here. The restaurant is fantastic. Peggy, in the morning, has an especially attentive team around her. Don't hesitate. Right across the street, you will find Pizza Eva, delicious food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. If you go, find Alex and tell him Mr. Douglas says hello! If there is a downside, and it was not to me, given Uber, it is the distance from downtown Athens. That said, I witnessed many tourists downtown dragging their luggage along, looking for their place to stay. Why not stay away from the crowds? Trust me."
