Great hotel and very central. Nice to stroll along the tree lined street. We had a suite with balcony and view which is enormous. The staff are the real plus for this hotel, very helpful and always pleasant especially Carlos on reception.

Lovely boutique style hotel
Lovely hotel a short walk from the very central area of York. Lots of lovely bars, restaurants and sights nearby. Hotel itself is an excellent boutique style.

Hotel was very nice. I parked in the hotel lot, in a very small space. I wondered whether the adjacent car would dent my car while extracting their car. No bidet or washlet.

Great hotel.
Really great stay. We love the hotel indigo in York having stayed there a few times in the past. We weren't disappointed this time and everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and the room really nice. Rachel also arranged for us to have the romance package as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have asked for more.

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trp. Staff were so lovely and really made us feel welcome. The bed however, was so uncomfy. It was a king room but the beds were two beds pushed together and there was a ridge down the middle which made it very uncomfortable and didn't get much sleep as we kept waking up. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Close enough to the centre but also far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the lovely staff who made our stay an enjoyable one to remember :)

Standards are dropping
Usually we can’t fault our stays here but a broken air con unit and some tired fixings has made us think about where we start next time. No air con and no explanation why it’s not working. Hotel was full so unable to move us. It’s a city hotel so you need air con as it’s too noisy and possible pollution without it. We did notice workmen taking filters somewhere so I suspect this was planned but nothing was said when I book or when we arrived. Staff though, except for what seemed like lack of being bothered about the air con were are always lovely, polite and welcoming without fault.
