Book a hotel near Concertgebouw, Amsterdam South

"Wonderful stay in this world class hotel. Situated in the historic high end museum quarter, it was walking distance to the best of Amsterdam’s attractions. We were greeted with smiles and French Champagne and promptly upgraded to a gorgeous junior corner suite. My husband felt very special on his bday as it seemed that the whole hotel knew it was his bday. We also found wonderful surprises in the room, hot air balloons, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and delicious treats. Alina the consierge made our stay particularly memorable as she recommended the best restaurants and organised everything for us. She explained about Amsterdam and what we should not miss. She honestly was the best consierge we have met during our 2 months travels and staying in 5 star hotels all over the world. Thank you to everyone for making our hotel stay so special! We will be back! "

"A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for you. Located in the ideal location, on Amstel. It's a 20ish minute walk into the center of Amsterdam (25 minutes to Central Station) and around a 20 minute walk to the Heineken and the Van Gogh Museum. Some lovely restaurants around the area and the hotel backs onto Rembrandtplein, which features clubs and other restaurants. The National Opera and Ballet is on the other side of the water. I stayed in a twin room with canal view and lucked out with the 5th floor overlooking Amstel. The view was stunning. I slept with the curtains open so I could look out overnight. The room was spacious and the bathroom was in good nick. Great facilities in the hotel, including a mini self serve supermarket (including a Starbucks coffee machine) and air hockey and a pool table. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurants or explore much further, but overall had a great experience at the hotel."

"Great sized standard double room, with an en-suite and room cleaning every day. Bus and tram stops less than 5 mins away. Brunch cafe right across the street and more in less than 5 mins walk. The museums square is only 15 min walk away (where Van Gogh museum is). Nice view out of the window, warm in January, clean sheets. The walls a bit dirty, but that’s typical with wallpaper. Easy check in and check out. Great price, cheaper than hostels in the city centre (and this is much quieter area)!"
