We like the fact it was quiet and relax. The property had a lot to offer to everyone; from being wild to just wanting to relax.. Love the way the property is maintained, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide service. We really love our stay and looking forward to another exciting stay in the near future..

Great place.. they have two areas.. area closest to the restaurants is more family friendly.. closer to the beach and party area very noisy.. if you’re looking to relax and quiet place this resort is not for you. The walls are paper thin.. didn’t hear a lot of guest noise.. it was the staff noise early in the morning.. cleaning crew.. didn’t bother me or my daughter.. but just thought I should mention..athe room was nice and very clean. The mini bar is out of this world.. 4 full size bottles of liquor plus fridge with sodas, big bottles of water, and mixes.. the property is beautiful.. Lots of swimming pools, kids pool, adult pools, and pools for everyone..Great nightly shows, daily activities for the whole family, lots of bars..Lots of dining options and you don’t have to make reservations!!! This was a plus for me!!! Didn’t have to get up early to try and get into a restaurant..First come first serve!!! Food is great! Most of the staff is ok.. not the friendliest.. the bellman Azael was amazing!!! He remembered when I was checking out and had the front desk confirm my departure time. Excellent service by Azael.. Oliver my breakfast buffet server.. attentive always had a spot for us in his section.. other than that service staff was ok.. no one stood out..I would definitely stay here again.. traveled with my 17yr old daughter and she also had a great time! Thank you Riu Santa Fe for a great visit!!

I was very happy with my stay at Riu Santa Fe. The staff were helpful and friendly and our room was great. The only thing that I think Riu can do better is the announcement of their activities. There are some of us who like to be active while on vacation and I did not see any postings of daily activities, like beach volleyball, etc on the property.

Genuinely worst stay ive had anywhere. My entire group had issues and were in beyond disbelief at how horrible the service is. Bugs in room, one sheet blanket, food was DISGUSTING, staff were so rude and dont care about you at all they font get paid anything here clearly. Everyone working here is incoherent. Ive never written a review for anything before but this was just that BAD. There was a random glass shard on the floor of hotel and multiple arguments occurred with staff over mistreatment along with getting money stolen. Layout of pools are the only nice thing here along with the cats but the pools water is disgusting.

We had a very good time here, I have just a few recommendations: The mattresses are super uncomfortable, like the cheapest they could find (very hard etc) the property needs to upgrade them, I overheard other people complaining about the same thing, and the pillows are too big, your head rests in a 90• degree angle, these combined, prevented us from having a good night sleep during our stay, the towels are super low quality and scratchy, but the MOST important complain I have is the fact that the main pool (the big one) is not for kids, how come such a big pool has no section for kids? It’s very deep for any kid to play safely by themselves, just not ok since this is a family friendly hotel, please fix that, other than that awesome stay. Love the fact that you can ALWAYS find shadowed area chairs around this main pool, that’s great!
