The property served its purpose for our visit. Staff was very nice. Rooms were small and very generic, no bells and whistles. Area is OK but safe, restaurants and grocery nearby. I was there for a conference at the convention center and easy walk.

It's a nice little hotel in a residential neighborhood. The property was clean. The room amenities were adequate. The room had t.v., fridge, a desk & a chair, a closet w/ hangers, iron w/ board, plenty of lighting, and ceiling fan (no A/C). The queen bed in my room was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but small. It was good for one person at a time visit. Their bathroom amenities included a tiny bar of soap, conditioning shampoo, and body lotion. I had to ask for an extra soap for hand washing purposes. When I went to get the extra soap, the front desk staff member didn't understand my request and gave me a confused look. They offer upgrades to your room to include complimentary breakfast and lounge access. They do not have a water fountain but sell water bottles for $3 a bottle. The front desk/ lobby area is small so if you are checking in/ out and there are people in front of you, then expect to wait a bit as there's one staff member behind the counter helping the guests as they come/ leave. The main CON about staying here was the noise coming from within the building. The walls are thin. You can hear the hallway noise, neighboring room noise, creaky floor noise from the room above and the parking lot noise. The room rates were not bad but I think they should be a bit low.

I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was incredibly convenient, and the rooms were fantastic. The Revive Lounge upgrade was definitely the highlight!

So I will say the hotel staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The parking was supposedly "200 feet from hotel and a 3 minute walk". It was actually more like a 5+ minute walk at another hotel, with our luggage, thru an alley with homeless people and bars on the windows. My wife was not happy. There is no where to park when you check in, so you have to park in the middle of the street and turn on the flashers. The room was clean, but the bathroom was NOT user friendly. The toilet was actually pushed so that your legs are under the sink countertop when using it. Also, when at the sink you look out a window at a wall. The mirror is actually on a separate wall from the sink above the toilet. Also our faucet did not have hot water. I shaved with cold water, over the toilet. We will not be returning. I picked this place because of all of the GREAT reviews. I have no idea how they have so many. Was definitely not our experience.

I gave a four star rating because the towels were more gray than white and one had a spot on it. Also, they put the creams and sugars for the coffee inside of a cup, but the cup wasn’t in plastic. I didn’t feel comfortable drinking out of the cup that had contact with all those things.

We stayed for a weekend for the Coastal Country Jam at Marina Green along with many other concert goers. I will stay here every time I am staying in Long Beach. Every staff member we encountered the entire weekend was simply fabulous in every way. Parking was a breeze and just a block away for an extra charge. There was no AC as clearly stated in booking details, but there was a ceiling fan, which worked great even though it was warmer that weekend. The rooms are smaller and simple with thoughtful amenities. The tiny size reminded me of European hotels and my bestie abd I were not bothered at all. I also paid for early check in and they were able to accommodate me for 12:30pm, which was exactly what I hoped for. Hotel communication was exceptional from the moment I booked my reservation through the Expedia app almost 6 months in advance. The booking details were very clear abd the hotel sent me multiple messages through the app leading up to my stay, which was nice. I also liked that they had 24-hour concierge service at the front desk. The staff were so accommodating and the consistently friendly service from all of the staff from each shift was so appreciated, especially when it feels so rare. The 1st night (Saturday) someone at a neighboring apartment complex started scream-singing karaoke (not good) at 12am and that did keep us up for a bit, but other than that guy’s horrible voice/song choices I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at the Greenleaf Hotel!

Staff were excellent; very helpful! Boutique hotel with large bedroom with a closet. Especially liked that staff helped with suitcases carried up front stairs and placed them in our room. Not sure that the area around hotel was safe but walked around without incident. Bathroom pretty small with a leaky faucet. Disabled travers may have trouble navigating stairs; staff kindly assigned us first floor; hotel has no elevator.

The hotel is remodeling. Our room was very nice but air con was not working yet. Being in November, no AC isn't a big problem. Staffs are very nice and helful. Location is good.
