First, the room was mostly clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were nice. And the staff was nice. In the morning we went to the fitness room. Most of the equipment was broken or unusable. All towels were gone and not replenished. They did empty the trash can, as we entered. They fitness room has not been cleaned in a while. We were told they would have multiple fruit, at breakfast, apples, oranges, & bananas. We were saddened there were no bananas or apples upon arrival. We had to ask for salt and pepper. Honestly, the breakfast enough, but, it just seemed like nobody cares about the property any longer. We probably won't stay again.

It was dark when I arrived, so can't really evaluate the outside. Inside the lobby was well lite, and welcoming. There was a slight line with only one clerk to check guest in. She was very efficient, and friendly. My room on the 8 floor, was clean. I was surprised with the mini frig, which was perfect! I have strick dietary restrictions, so had all my food with me. There was a noticable water leak on the ceiling, with some missing "cottage cheese". There was also water damage to a picture hang near where the leak has occured. Bottom line the shower and towels were clean, there was coffee by the coffee maker, and the bead was clean and comfortable.

Filthy in Ontario

The front desk clerk was very nice and check in went smoothly. We were given room 109. Upon entry we immediately noticed six or seven small roaches on the desk. Then we saw several more in the entry and bathroom. We went down stairs and the clerk got us a room on the a higher floor. The hallway carpet was disgusting. There were lumps of either melted chocolates or pet waste in the hallway. The floor of room 814 was so sticky your shoes stuck to it. On the carpeted areas there was debris like cookie crumbs everywhere. No roaches, so we made due. We were leaving at 4:15 a.m. anyway. I have never seen such a dirty hotel.

Overall I give this place a 9/10. Everything was great, only reason I give it a 9 is bc the couple that was in the room next to us was LITERALLY fussing & FIGHTING ALL NIGHT LONG! Bangin on the walls, throwing stuff at the way being SUPER LOUD ALL NIGHT! So we didn’t get much sleep AT ALL, I tell the office and was hoping they was going to be courteous and give us a free night or at least a discount or something but nah, nothing. Besides that everything was excellent.

I often leave before the breakfast foods are put out front so I've asked front desk staff for fruit from the kitchen. I've done this about 30 times during my visits without any issues. Until last Tuesday; the woman staffing the front desk said they had none because they ran out of fruit over the weekend. I said that I had fruit on Monday and asked that she check. She begrudgingly got up, went to the kitchen and brought back one apple. I also asked her to have housekeeping restock the shampoo two mornings in a row, but it was never done. I got a new bottle myself from the afternoon staff. Not sure I'm coming back she's in the wrong line of work in my opinion.
