I would definitely return to The Hills Inn Eagle Rock. I checked in at 11:30pm and everything went smoothly. The rooms were large and clean. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was sold out on my last night, it was still quiet. The hotel continental breakfast was extensive and well-managed. The hotel moved the breakfast start time earlier one day to accommodate guests attending two large nearby events. I thought I had left my Ipad behind when I checked out. When I contacted them, hotel staff looked for it and then promptly called me back to let me know it wasn’t there (I had left it on the airport shuttle!). All charges on the bill were correct and my room deposit was promptly refunded. The overall experience was a good one!

Second stay at this property and still love it. The only recommendation is to have handicapped rooms with 2 beds near the handicapped parking.

The hotel room was clean and area was calm. The parking is limited to a first come basis, but i never had an issue finding a parking spot. The check in and check out process was easy and the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast had many good options for me and my nephew to choose from. And house keeping did an amazing job. It wasnt too far from universal studios and disneyland. Will stay here again when i am in the area.

Roadside motel
It's a roadside motel. It was good for a night considering the type of accommodations. Clean, friendly, minimal road noise, comfortable bed. I didn't like the smell when going in the room. It was stale. Perhaps the carpet or upholstery. Dated furnishings but all in all, fine.
