This was a wonderful place to stay for myself and 2 friends. We had a Jr. suite with bedroom and two bathrooms. The Kitchen was well stocked and comfortable beds and couch. Loved to property, the pools and the activities. Restaurants were kind of high priced but it is an easy walk to the marina and town. Only thing that would have made it better was to be able to swim in the ocean but the beach and waves (and whales!) were beautiful. Great staff too! Very friendly and helpful. We'll go back!!!

This is our tenth time staying here. We like it as it is close to downtown but on the Pacific side which is much quieter and does not have the harassment of beach peddlers.

I would highly recommend the All-Inclusive meal plan because paying retail at their onsite restaurants would be very expensive. I liked the location of the resort because it was private, while still being close enough to walk to town or hike over rocks to reach Lover's Arch and the beach.

Been to the Playa Grande many times. This trip we were placed in 3 rooms at The Ridge instead of in the Playa Grande. The rooms at the Ridge are very nice, however the rooms faced the Marina and the roof top bars in the area played music loudly until 1-2 AM making sleeping difficult. The staff was very helpful in moving two of the rooms back down to the Playa Grande toward the beach. But they were not able to move the third room.

Beautiful, immaculately cleaned and maintained. Enjoyed the energy of the water aerobics crew. Really really appreciate cleaning crew that found and returned my partners watch which she had mistakenly mixed up with our discarded pool towels.

From beginning to end our stay was amazing!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was beyond expectations for price. Great location. Close to marina and downtown. The only downside was not being able to go in the ocean in front of our hotel due to rip currents, but we were able to take a quick and easy Uber to a swimmable beach. Other than that this place is amazing!!

It was absolutely beautiful, and exceeded our expectations - the restaurants are top of the line, service impeccable, the hotel is near town located near shops and other restaurants and the marina, which is a highlight of the area.
