This property is after fire, looks horrible, inside smells fire
The hotel is under renovation. I thought when I pulled it that it was going to be demolished, but saw people enter the lobby. I booked the hotel because my experience at Shilo Klamath was incredible. I also booked the Shilo because I wanted to use the pool and hot tub, but it was closed because there was glass in the pool and the hot tub looked demolished. The hotel should not be open for guests at this point until the renovation is complete. My bed was crooked. Elevator doesn’t work very well and everything looks very old. Breakfast is pretty good and the room is a good size room.
The hotel is under construction. The pool is not working. The hotel is torn up, we actually thought it was closed and there was going to be a big problem, but it was open for business.
Not as presented on the site.
Under construction We did not stay there.

It’s hard to give this better than an average rating because they are doing a major renovation. The hotel is dated and hopefully the improvements will give this an upgrade. The reasonable price includes an okay breakfast and it’s close to 395 if you’re just doing an overnight stay.
This hotel was horrible! It’s under renovation on the outside. Which apart from maybe a roof leak the inside was in desperate need of repair. The hallways to the rooms smelled and had buckets with caution tape and were collecting leaks from the ceiling. Our room looked clean but the carpet was torn at the doorway and the Formica was broken on the sink. The guest in the room above us was making so much noise we couldn’t sleep. We called the desk 3 times and the noise subsided about 12:30am. I am going to ask for a refund. This was by far the worst hotel experience ever. Also my husband is handicapped and because of the construction there was no handicap parking available when we came back to the hotel yesterday. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after 1 horrible night. I really want my money back!
I was there for work and was working nights and needed to sleep during the day. The room was hot. There was construction so it was loud during the day. Also the curtains were sheer so it was too bright for quality sleep. It's frustrating to pay $800 for horrible quality sleep. I checked out a day early and got a different hotel.
What a complete mess, the outside of the hotel looked like a bomb went off. The room was disgusting, the shower broke, ac barely worked. This hotel looked like it came directly from Iraq!
I was so disappointed, the property was under repair on the outside, the condition on the inside was smelly, run down, the hottub was out of service, the pool was in questionable condition. It looked nothing like the pics online. We chose to pay more to stay here and I couldn't have been more disappointed. I will probably not ever chose to stay at another Shilo.
The Shilo never posted on their website about their on-going construction, which became the least of an all issues.
Once we entered the room we noticed it was not cleaned properly as we found old food containers still in the microwave with mold, we inspected the towels that seemed cleaned but where dirty and had what appeared to be boogers on them. This was an unpleasant experience, just a heads up if you’re planning on staying here.

I've stayed at nicer hotels for the same price. The property was just kind of old and starting to get run down (the elevator was a little iffy). The dining area was extremely small and I've had much better breakfasts elsewhere (though it wasn't terrible).
The property parking garage is totaly unsafe with very limited lighting, the rooms definitely need to be updated with new features. I will not recomend it.
