Had an amazing time here for a family trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to ensure we had a room that suited our accessibility needs. I felt like the food was above average for an all-inclusive resort, which was a pleasant surprise and definitely a parent pleaser. Plenty of space by the pool and on the beach. The staff helped us book a couple off-resort excursions and were able to suggest activities that would be doable by the older members of the group. I will definitely be returning here in the future!

At the restaurant for dinner, water was leaking from the ceiling and we were asked to continue with the dinner. food Items at the cafe were finished early in the morning and after that we are told it is not available. The day we got there, there where no pool towels available for use.. could not sue the pool. The hot tub has water that was mildly warm. I was told when I called that the pools are heated... the water was very cold with no heat... not sure why I paid this much for this experience. I hope there is some compensation for spending this amount of the money and not having the experience that we should get, thanks

This is a 3 star property at best. I stayed at the Zilaria. The facilities are dated and need renovation. I stayed in a swim up suite, room 4105. We requested maintenance 3 times during the stay. A broken sliding door between the living/bath area, a toilet door that was impossible to close, and a tub drain that would not seal and a faucet to the tub that would not work. None of these problems were completely resolve. The swim up suites do not communicate with the main pool/swim up bar. There is one bar tender poolside at the swim up bar. Getting a drink is inconvenient so you have to rely on the cocktail waitresses. There was floating trash/debris in and around the swim up suite for days. The food is good. However, most restaurants are on the Ziva side so it is a 5-10 minute walk. The pathways are poorly lit so it can be a challenge after sundown. Service at the restaurants was slow. Waitstaff was working hard but places were understaffed. A dinner for 6 took 2.5 hours at Urban Heatz. The ocean views and ocean swimming is nice. The jerk chicken shacks and pizza snacks are nice. Pool side entertainment was fun. I asked to use a kayak to explore the ocean which is advertised as part of the all inclusive package and the worker demanded a tip BEFORE I went out. I was going to tip him but it felt like extortion. Overall, I was able to have a nice time. But this is not a luxury property by any stretch of the imagination. It is old, somewhat run-down and feels tired.
