Just came back from a lovely week at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica with family. Great facilities, awesome beach, friendly staff, excellent all around. I strongly recommend this option for those looking for a caribbean experience. An opportunity for improvement is the food quality at the italian restaurant La Dolce Vita, where our meal appeared poorly cooked and tasted below average. This is minor, since the food at the buffett is beyond delicious.

Did not like -- Restaurants not available to all guests or conciere not accommodating for new check in clients Noise in section 18 from the disco at night after 10 pm wheelchair accessibility for older guest was difficult even after explaining if the rooms can be changed as we booked through travelocity Overall the trip was good as this was my 2nd time in 4years at this resort. The location is amazing and the overall facilities were good. The buildings are a bit older but everything was in good repair and worked well. A majority of the staff was friendly and willing to assist. The regular buffets were hit or miss and the overall food quality was inconsistent. Some of the food stations were easily overwhelmed and the one person assigned to them did the best they could. The buffet locations all close 30 minutes earlier than stated and I and a number of other guests that did not know this were a bit annoyed. This situation was consistent over the course of our stay. The restaurants that required scheduling were good and the service was timely and the staff was attentive. Be aware that the bars especially the one on the third floor lobby(outside terrace) give preference to visitors who tip so bring along some extra spending cash (singles worked well.)

The food quantities are very small. The items are finished not even halfway through the time of breakfast. Service is not good. Very noisy late night and early morning. Where do I began. T.V. didnt work, called continuously to no avail. 1 bottle of water for 3 people in the room, called continuously to no avail. Room flooded from the room above us. They cleaned that but the leak cause damaged to the wall. Asked to be moved and was hung up on. Spoke to a manager who stated all our issues will be addressed within an hour. Not. I felt like we was begging for items we paid for. On the brighter side, the resort is beautiful and the food was decent. Oh, the pool opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. That really was a bummer. Not sure if i would return or recommend.

Best resort I have ever been to in the Caribbean, can't recommend enough! We stayed in a Junior Superior Suite. The resort itself is clean and there is always staff around to smile, or help with something. Food was amazing; from the buffet to the a la carte dinners. Check-in and out was efficient. The children's activities are thoughtful and engaging throughout the day and evening. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, with or without our child!

The cups were filthy and dirty. I don’t think they clean the cups used at the pool properly. They just smelled off and looked bleaky and dirty. For that I didn’t consume anything from the pool bar after my second day there. I just brought a bottle of water each day and drink mostly water.
