We started to make this place our go to for our anniversary. This trip was not so great. Both my husband and I tried to get the only accessible outlet to work. We pressed the reset button on the gfi several times and I ended up having to dry my hair off the outlet on the table lamp across the room. We were missing lighting in the room as our ceiling fan was missing the lighting cover along with the access to the light itself. Our tv didn’t work no matter what we tried. Called to the front desk a couple times and they said they would send someone up. As I am about to leave the room someone shows up. He couldn’t get the tv to work either, brought in a handful of remotes and they didn’t work either. I left and went to dinner. Came back after and it was working. Resort bar/restaurant wasn’t open and wasn’t told that at check in either, supposed to have some kind of party, but that lasted like an hour. This stay was very underwhelming for the price we paid. Would have rather stayed down the street at a hotel for what we had.

Front desk was unable to answer simple questions about resteraunt times and location on property. One of the elevators were broken causing long waits to get to rooms and front desk was not able to tell guests where to access stairs.

Enjoyed the visit but the property and rooms show quite a bit of wear and tear making it feel unclean. Stains on walls, carpets, a fresh coat of paint and new carpet would go a long way. Views of the harbor were nice.

Amazing location with incredible views. Lots of fun amenities. The rooms are aging a bit but still clean and could use a few more outlets. I loved using the free bikes. The pools were a perfect temperature. We only had the chance to use one restaurant and the fish tacos were great. The “beach area” is not a beach right up to the water. Instead it is a fun sandy area with a rocky 2-3 foot drop off into the water. We drove to station 18 beach for a true beach experience. They gave us vouchers for free drinks or candy in the gift shop which was nice. They provide you with free beach towels to borrow at the pool. I really wish I had more than one night.

The resort was very clean and quiet. The pool area, the restaurants, and the bar was well kept. The front desk staff was friendly, however, when I called guest services, They usually did not answer right away. This was frustrating, but overall, the resort is clean and the staff is friendly. I would recommend if you like a calm And clean environment. This is a perfect place for families and couples.

Hotel was dated and rooms were very clean. A few outlets were hanging out of the wall eith dust all over them. The closet door was broken and the room in general had too few outlets. I had to move the coffee maker to the night stand to run. The pool was merky, you couldnt even see your knees and parking was a joke, you had to drive around for 5-10 to find a spot. Find another option if you can. The only nice part was the location.

The Harborside was relaxing and great food! When we wanted excitement it was just a short water taxi ride over to Charleston night life!

My daughter and I were visiting the area and I found this hotel online. While so many hotels/resorts have modernized and lost their charm, this hotel still offers what others have lost. There’s been amazing live music, daily complimentary ice cream treats, relaxing pools, and a great view of the harbor. We have loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Love this hotel! This is the older side, which is fine but the rooms are in need of some TLC. We had a light fixture that was hanging from the ceiling, bed skirts falling off, etc. However the pool at the other side is amazing and the Reel Bar and views so 10/10 stay. This was our 10th time staying and will be back again!
