This could be a great hotel but it was by FAR the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Music till late , slamming doors and shouting all night , housekeeping knocking on door at 8am even though sign on door. Really an exhausting trip.

It was a good stay. Even though it says the room is small, the room is sooooooo small for 2 people. Thank goodness we had the balcony for some added room. We work a lot while traveling and the room was just not a good work spot. Had to use open area of hotel to work.

Most overpriced room $3000 for 4 nites Rooms are so tiny at 155 sqft that I had To keep my two suitcases on half the bed Also I thought By the name Arlo soho I wood Be in the heart of soho but this location is absolutely not meet to much

airconditioner was so loud and clicked on and off all night. No complimentary coffee in lobby. Someone lit a bush on fire on the roof and all elevators deactivated with no communication. Traffic flow outside is very confusing due to Holland Tunnel and 2 Ubers cancelled me because they couldn't get to me.

Decent midrange hotel option in NYC
Pretty good value for money in nyc. Good location. Rooms are aging and not particularly well maintained/cleaned (for example, we had a used nespresso pod in our room; there were visible scratches on furniture).

The property is in a convenient location that is walkable and decently close to most things. The rooms were not ready at 5PM when we arrived and we had to wait an additional hour for the room to be ready. The rooms are tiny but cute and clean. The terraces and views from the rooms are really cool. The staff didnt say anything about my VIP Access benefit and when i asked they gave me a different perk than the one in the booking path.

Not for those of us over 40
The Arlo is in a really convenient location near Soho that feels very safe. The staff were super friendly. But for a couple in their 40s (or older), this isn’t your hotel. The room was super small, and the bed (although comfortable) was pushed up against the window. The whole vibe is very dorm-room-esque. Towels were scratchy. But the worst thing that happened was the very loud, very drunk people in the room next to us, around 3 am one of them locked themselves out of the room and banged incessantly at the door. Security was called and the situation eventually resolved but it was awful and when I went to the desk to discuss it the next morning, the best they could do was a free coffee. The point is is that if you’re looking for an elevated NYC wknd, this isn’t your hotel. If you are young and ready to party, it’s your vibe.
