There are only 2 elevators for over 20 floors and housekeeping uses these 2 elevators as well which means once you get on the elevator it's likely going to stop on every floor. While we were there one elevator went out and within a few hours the 2nd elevator went out (first one still not fixed).

This is listed as a 4 Star Hilton property. This hotel is substandard based on that rating. The elevator was broken; on the fifth floor the down button wouldn’t light up, and multiple times the elevator bypassed the floor. The cleaning staff have to use the same elevators, and there’s only 2.The bath didn’t drain. The room had a slight mildew smell. The wall temp control didn’t work. The television didn’t work. They charge $25 for a subpar, inedible breakfast buffet. This is more like an average to below average Holiday Inn than a 4 star Hilton facility. Don’t waste your money here - use this place as a last resort option, and don’t pay a Hilton 4 star price for it.. The 4 star rating, even the 7.8 Expedia rating, are deceptive. The staff is doing the best they can, but this place is clearly poorly managed and has multiple issues with quality control.

Disappointed in this well known brand
This hotel is tired and not up to the standard we expected of this brand - the reason we chose it. The room was small for three people with nowhere for luggage. The bed mattress was old and felt like we were rolling out of it. It was clean though, with daily servicing if needed. Centrally located it was a good base for sightseeing because of that it was still pricy for what it is. Breakfast was very basic and not great quality we should have booked elsewhere.

Clean rooms. Great location. Be aware there are only 2 lifts for 27 story building and lifts fete overcrowded around check-out time. I had to waited 20 min to be able to get to the lobby.

This property was perfect for our weekend in NYC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was walkable and felt safe. Our room was clean. My only complaint is the elevator had issues, request a room on a lower floor for convenience.

Staff were lovely. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great view of the Empire State Building that was worth the extra $. Only real complaint is a slow and unreliable elevator and the shower only had two temperatures - blistering hot or tap cold. Otherwise a nice stay.
