Just a great experience overall. The staff were as friendly as friendly could be. We had a City View Room on the 27th floor. It was plenty of room for two of us, and very comfortable. Liked the mini fridge and microwave.
Absolutely great location for Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Lincoln Center, and subway options very close to take you anywhere you want to go.
The only negatives were there can be a bit of a wait at times for the elevators, especially since staff uses them too, but that's to be expected in a high rise building. It looked like there was a cover missing on the AC in the closet so there was a red flashing light, but it was only noticeable with the lights off, and barely so at that. Neither of these were issues for us at all.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. I was in town running the NYC Marathon, and it was a perfect place to stay for anyone doing that. Thank you so much Hilton Garden Inn for giving us a fantastic experience!
