Great location to the Rockettes. And all the fanfare of Times Square. Having housekeeping knock on our door at 9am the day we checked out to clean the room was uncalled for and annoying. Room was clean, tough, and comfortable. Two queen room was spacious.

This hotel was nice because it was away from the hustles and bustle of Time Square, but definitely walkable to many attraction areas, great shopping and Central Park. The rooms themselves need some TLC, power plugs replaced and UBS charging stations updated.

Just a great experience overall. The staff were as friendly as friendly could be. We had a City View Room on the 27th floor. It was plenty of room for two of us, and very comfortable. Liked the mini fridge and microwave. Absolutely great location for Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Lincoln Center, and subway options very close to take you anywhere you want to go. The only negatives were there can be a bit of a wait at times for the elevators, especially since staff uses them too, but that's to be expected in a high rise building. It looked like there was a cover missing on the AC in the closet so there was a red flashing light, but it was only noticeable with the lights off, and barely so at that. Neither of these were issues for us at all. Overall, this is a great place to stay. I was in town running the NYC Marathon, and it was a perfect place to stay for anyone doing that. Thank you so much Hilton Garden Inn for giving us a fantastic experience!

Every was fine other than, had a leak in our bathroom coming from pipes overhead. Got alot of our things wet and was inconvenienced with the water splattering while using facility. No dry towels or toilet paper until I requested from front desk. Was taken care of within 24 hours but was not offered a discount or any compensation for our inconvenience.

We stayed at this location for the NYC Marathon. It is perfectly located 2-3 blocks away from Central Park. Everything was perfect. Room was clean, plenty of towels, and the very nice staff.

Disaster - Worst experience & horrible treatment!
While I was showering with shampoo and soap on my body the water stopped for no reason. I was standing in the shower all covered with soaps and no water. I decided to wait for the water to start up again and that was a huge mistake. When the water started it came out blasting dark brown with black and brown particles of some kind of debris materials and before I could shut off the water I was soaked with water pollution. My wife grabbed the two bottles of water that if you drink them cost $3 each and I used them to rinse my head and eyes. I used 4 other bottled waters and barely was able to rinse off the polluted water. The sink also had polluted water and so did the toilet. I used towels to dry and they were brown and black. My wife didn't shower and we left the Hilton to catch a plane out of JFK. I was promised that a manager would call me on the day this happened and no call. I was then told a manager would call us the next day when we returned home, and no call. To this day the manager has not called me. I got sick when I returned home and it took 3 showers at home and 24 hours to recover. I then I received a bill for the 2 waters I didn't use to drink but needed to rinse my eyes. It was for $6. I spent almost $2,700 on 6 nights and the manager didn't call me and billed me for bottles of water that I needed to rinse off. This was so unprofessional on so many levels. The old hotel proved to me that they have water problems and when it impacts a guest they do not care.

The hotel is in a great location. Lots of eating options in the area and the subway line is very close. This is my third time staying at this hotel. The negative thing worth mentioning is the wait time to get an elevator.

Worst experience ever! All the front desk staff is always in bad mood, they won’t help you and the hotel charges 10usd for each package that you received even if they don’t offer you drop off service at your room (yo have to wait 10 minutes at the lobby each time that the package arrives). And wait! There’s more! They don’t clean daily the rooms, they only clean them every 2 days! Definitely I recommend that Hilton stop operating that property, they don’t deserve that brand!!! Of course I would never ever stay there again!!!
