Check in is 4pm. We get to the hotel at 1:30pm and left our bags with reception to come back at check in. We come back to check in at 4:30pm and our room was not ready until 5pm. Then the room they provided us was an accessible room not a regular room which we booked a regular room. The shower in the room did not work properly. The WiFi went in and out throughout our 3 days and on the 2nd day it was down completely for 3 hours for maintenance. If you want anything you have to go down to the front desk instead of calling.

Nice hotel, clean and reception staff very helpful but area around the hotel was noisy and dirty. It was however very conveniently located to Penn Station, Madison Square Gardens, Time Square, Hudson Yards and Empire State Building

The customer service was great. The young lady at reception realised it was our 50th wedding anniversary and arranged Prosecco and strawberries which was a nice touch. The room was tiny which was awkward with large suitcases. Location was fantastic.
