"What a beautiful property. Also, the Osen is top notch after a long day of walking. Nothing to do in the immediate neighborhood, but it is close to bus stops and the subway station. Would definitely stay again: the one negative I have is that the shower in the room is Mickey Mouse. It is not functional for an adult. "

"Nice that it’s close to the Umekoji-Kyotonishi train station which is just 1 strain stop away from the main Kyoto station. I also like that the place is clean. Our beds are cleaned and neat everyday despite the mess we left from such a busy day outside the hotel. Thirdly, I like that the showers have very good water pressure. It’s just too bag that we didn’t get to see and use the public bath they have. "

"Great stay! We enjoyed the restaurants: main restaurant, quick takeaway cafe, and rooftop bar. The room was cleaned everyday, even though we stayed multiple days. Easy walk to Gion’s sights. We used taxis mostly since it was a bit of a walk from the subway, but most of our trips were less than $10. Would stay here again."
