The room does not match the advertised photos, presenting as a small, with minimal natural light, with only two small windows at the end of a hallway. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, and the thermostat malfunctions, causing the unit to continuously emit cold air at a high speed. Additionally, the bathroom floor is improperly sloped, resulting in water accumulation and flooding during showers. The bed is uneven due to wear, further impacting comfort. While the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good, and the outdoor pool area is well-maintained and nice , for the price paid, I regret my stay here.

Excellent Boutique Hotel
Very welcoming. Very cozy. Unique — but in a great way. I checked in, grabbed a complimentary glass of Rose and sat in one of their lawn swings. Very relaxing all around. Very clean. Rooms were unique, and the experience was very calming and quaint.

Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 1 due to a electrical issue got transferred to the Dunes, a sister hotel which , was no where near as nice , dreary noisy air conditioning which was inefficient,not good at 120 degrees! It was clean and newly renovated but lacked brightness

Comfortable and romantic getaway success
Such a great experience! Holly & I always look for the comfortable boutiques in Palm Springs and Dive did not disappoint! The rooms were wonderful, each decorated independently in a French Riviera theme. The courtyard and pool was the perfect place to rest and relax. It's always a pleasure making friends with other tenants, and in this case we were lucky to meet the owner who showed us why his employees were so great. He took care of them like family! The service was wonderful, food and drinks were great. We will go back, well, after we check out their other hotel, Talavera, which has a warm bohemian theme. Such a great experience!!!!

Boutique Hotel extraordinaire
I found Dive by searching through Hotels.com and figured it would be a quaint boutique hotel - we weren't disappointed, it exceeded our expectations! Very friendly and helpful employees!! With only 11 rooms it was the perfect French-style Boutique Hotel, meticulously maintained. Of course, having near perfect weather was just icing on the cake.

We've done a lot of trips to Palm Springs and have been to the usual suspects - Ace, Holiday House, Sparrows, etc. Dive is a fine boutique hotel, but that's exactly how i would rate it - it's fine. Staff was super nice, but there were clearly issues with training them (for instance, undercooked hard boiled eggs, thick and soupy coffee, etc). Things you should have no issue with if you're paying $500+ a night for a basic room. Service was slow at the pool which is a wasted opportunity for them to make money. We even were charged for an item from the mini bar (beer) that neither of us could even drink if wanted to (I am gluten intolerant and my wife is pregnant). The shower was not adjustable and was higher pressure, which actually kinda hurt our skin if it hit a sensitive spot. No big deal breakers - but little things like that are weird in a pricey spot. Positives - super nice staff. Pool was great temp and the pool chairs and umbrellas were all great. Daybeds were awesome to lounge in. Staff was very nice (just slow). Room was very clean. I think this room/experience should have been $300-350 night. $500+ felt a little aggressive for this.

The Dive is a special gem in Palm Springs. The aesthetic, comfortability, and service was 10/10. A great romantic getaway. Cesar, our host, enhanced our experience that much more. He went above and beyond for us in every possible way.

We stayed at Dive Palm Springs for our babymoon. The whole trip was so perfect. From our romantic room, to the temperature of the pool, and the delicious breakfast and coffee. The entire staff was so wonderful, and Steven recommended some fantastic places for us to eat and dine, which we managed to hit almost all of them. I can’t wait to visit Dive again and enjoy another relaxing and peaceful trip

We had the pleasure of staying the the Dive in Palm Springs and it was definitely the best experience. Upon the day of check in employee Steven reached out to me asking if I needed any personal touches to the room and quickly coordinated chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of bubbles to help celebrate our anniversary. He was very welcoming and gave us a tour of this gorgeous boutique hotel. He made us feel like we were the most important guests. The hotel decor is to die for and the bartender made the best spicy margaritas. We will definitely be back again!

Great mini getaway!
Wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable room with rain shower head. Beautifully decorated with comfy seating area that could also be used as a twin bed. Air conditioning and heating worked very well. Only complaint was the music after 9pm. Would definitely stay here again!

A slice of paradise!
This place is a slice of paradise! My husband and I arrived after dark and were given a tour of the grounds before we reached our room. We were charmed by the beauty and magic at every turn. They’ve thought of everything! We left for dinner and returned for a late-night swim and warmed up by the fire. The following day we relaxed by the pool, enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch, tasty cocktails and a special mocktail for me. What a treat. I haven’t felt this relaxed in two years! Staff is genuine, friendly and attentive. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a fun color scheme and French inspired mid century modern beach vibe. The bed was firm but comfortable. Shower is large and has good water pressure. No tv in the room. Thank you for that! This place is truly special. We will be back!
