Cleanliness, no hot water from Sunday to Monday due to a gas leak on the premises. No working complementary coffee maker in room. The refrigerator did not work properly. All perishable foods got frozen. Parking is limited to 12 parking spots in the front. One handicap spot. The rear parking area is occupied by company trucks. I booked this Days Inn through Expedia for $56.32 per week nights & Sun. $60.80 for Fri. $63.36 for Sat. For a total of $418.59 I was supposed to check out on Tue. 12/17/2024. When booking, I accidently marked a check out date of Dec/6/2024. My car rental and flight is scheduled for Dec 7/2024. I asked the hotel for one extra night and they charged me $100.87 a $50.00 holding fee. They did not honored the fact that I booked my entire stay through Expedia at $56.32. The worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I will never recommend the Days Inn Budd Lake, NJ to anyone. Horrible service. I will be contacting Expedia when I return home to Colorado.

Very convenient to Rt 46 and 80. Limited breakfast items. Our key card had to be recharged every time we returned to the room. Bathroom door did not lock. Per night though, was cheaper than any other places.

The property was pretty clean however definitely prefer carpet in rooms in the North. I unfortunately cut my knuckle on their headboard from a piece of metal. The manager was very helpful and sent their maintenance man right away to fix it. We did not eat breakfast there. Our stay was 4 nights. Great location for the prices.

This is my go to place when I'm in the greater NYC area. Wi-Fi and cable TV work great. Staff are attentive and the owner addresses any issues you might have promptly. Good location with many restaurant locations nearby.

The property and its location is fine, it’s the staff that are rude and just inconsiderate. Got there late with my team and we got our rooms normally, the night desk person was nice asked me how many people per room gave him the number. The next morning I was rudely awake as the front desk kept calling me and knocking on the door, thinking it’s an emergency I answer, the man wanted to over charge me per people per room and was upset that we had breakfast and shut breakfast down half hour before schedule time. Then after waking me up and taking time away from me, they opened my room door at 10:55am for room cleaning and they didn’t allow me to have neither the peace of mind or finished preparing for a tough business day. Overall place was ok, shower is uncomfortable but it’s the staff that was rude and inconsiderate that made this place the worst. And my team and I travel lots throughout the year and stay in different hotels but this was the worst staff we have encountered.

It's was extremely loud with people and kids in the early morning and with being next to the workout room even with a storage room between I heard weight slamming for hours. The vending machines were completely empty and the one soda they had left was $3. The room was ok but had bad damage to the walls ,paint blotches , rust and corners of the bathroom being dirty or moldy

We had only been in the room for a couple of hours before finding several bedbugs crawling on the bed. We immediately notified the front desk and showed the staff the bedbugs. He told us he didn’t have any other room available, and we should call in the morning for a full refund of our payment. We left the hotel and had to find other accommodations. We will not be staying at this hotel again.
