A passing grade
Westgate Inn is undergoing renovation. The room I had has not completed renovation. The bed seemed new and was comfortable. The furniture looked worn but in reasonably good condition and will probably be replaced. The bathroom showed signs of age with rust around the tub and needs replacement as soon as possible. Water was hot and almost instant. Coffee and snacks were available whenever the office was open. The free breakfast was continental and adequate.

Staying healthy on vacation
the check in and room were fine and about what I expected, my only concern is the breakfast. It's in the office with one table so everything would be taken back to the room to eat sitting on the bed. My second concern is the health aspect of the breakfast offerings .After the health concerns of the country over the last couple of years I am sure that not only is it unsafe but probably illegal to have every user of toast condiments use a common jar. I looked at the peanut butter jar and the utensils provided and decided to stick with dry toast. This one thing will prevent me from ever staying here again.

First motel that you saw when you got in. Friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast for it being continental. I may have picked a bad time to check out because I had to wait a few minutes in order to do that because no one was at the front desk. Overall, nice and comfortable and modern looking.

Just somewhat dark and dingy. Just needs a total overhaul on room and bathroom. Thought I was stepping back to the late 70’s It’s more like a 70 dollar stay. Breakfast was a bit of a joke also as jams and peanut butter were in big containers right from the grocery store. Milk in 4 litre jug in fridge. Real community type of breakfast and no real organization going on. Bathroom fan didn’t work and mold around tub. Is it any wonder the lighting is so poor.
