Quite enjoyable. Would return, resurrection for Marina view and price. However, was disappointed with condition - floor was vinyl planks. Bathroom door lacquer sanded down but not all removed. Renovation scheduled for next month tho (Dec). Balcony had “potholes” in concrete floor. No table on balcony. Great having large enough fridge to handle breakfast fruit and milk for a week plus restaurant leftovers. All very comfortable and accommodating, just not as impressive as photos suggested.

Wonderful staff, updated rooms, close to airport.
We usually stay on Pacific Beach but thought we’d try something new closer to the airport with a bay view. Besides the pretty marina on the back, the front side had a wonderful bay view with lots of boating and navy activity. Also, wonderful walking path and beach for dogs.

Bay Club Hotel is a nice hotel. Reserved a room here primarily becuz it’s right next to Humphreys By The Bay. My GF and I were going to a concert there so the hotel is very convenient. Our room was nice, spacious and clean. Big enuff to accommodate a small couch or love seat but of course it didn’t have either. I’d rate the room average, nothing to brag about especially for the price. Hotel bar and breakfast areas are small and pleasant and staff is excellent. I think the hotel is over priced but all the hotels along this strip are too. Again mainly stayed here becuz of its proximity to Humphreys.

Great hotel. The only issue I had was the parking. I paid a good chunk of money for two rooms and still had to pay close to $20 a day to park at the hotel that I paid to stay at. You would think with the money paid that the parking would be included.

Buyer beware. Double check when you book your “ocean view” 3rd party. Our room was a very dark corner unit with a sliver of ocean view and a balcony big enough for one adult to stand directly in front of the loud & hot AC unit. The hotel is clearly old & in need of a remodel. I did not feel like it was a great value for the money I spent for “ocean view.” Staff was very polite. And the pool area overlooking the marina was lovely. We enjoyed cocktails out there one evening for a sunset. The area is walkable & made for an enjoyable stay. Room was adequate but we were pretty disappointed for our anniversary stay.

The room was very nice, cozy, comfortable and clean! It had a beautiful view and the balcony was an absolute plus! I guess the only thing I can say is that it would have been nice to have more streaming options on the tv (access to Netflix, YouTube, prime) that would have made it perfect but just one minor thing! But over all very nice and I’d definitely stay there again.
