It all started at check in, I booked this room through Expedia, then we had some friends that wanted join us so I booked theirs from the hotel itself. They received a bigger room with better amenities. They treated Expedia clients like red headed step children. I will book through the hotel next time. Lesson learned.

The stay was excellent. The only thing was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. If it had a nice clean sofa bed one my kids would of sleep on it. Other than that, i loved the view. Very nice neighborhood. Love San Diego.

The bed was comfortable, but the room is so dated… it looked like it could be a cabin. The bathroom was dated back to 70’s. Shower didn’t work well. Also tv kept going out.

The hotel is huge and in a great area if you’d like to walk through Old Town. There’s a lot of restaurants to try and shops. The room itself was a nice size but didn’t feel super clean. The walls and especially door is very thin because you can hear people talking outside as if they were in the room. My husband has always wanted to stay at this hotel. We’d probably stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Just a tip - ask the front desk for coupons for the local restaurants. If they don’t have them, try the little stores around old town. Theres an outdoor store with plants and pots that has coupons for Miguel’s, Coyote Cafe, and Fred’s.
